AGives!, Associated Grocers 501 (c ) 3 non-profit affiliate had a boiling team at this year’s Crawfish King Cook-off. The event was held downtown, Baton Rouge on Friday, May 2nd. Wilbur Fabre, Jr. and Dwayne Anthony were boilers, leading AGives! to place in the top 10 of the competition. There were over 36 participating teams. The Crawfish King Cook-off is an awesome event, which benefits Big Buddy programs as well as Junior Achievement. It is a long day, filled with lots of fun for a great cause.
Big Buddy seeks to create a community of mentoring relationships for the youth. Junior Achievement seeks to assist young people with the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their futures, and make smart academic and economic choices.
