Organizers of Fathers on a Mission (F.O.A.M.) visited Associated Grocers for a Lunch and Learn event on Thursday, August 1st. The event, attended by more than fifty people was an introductory session on how the organization serves as an aid to the community. Attendees participated in a breakout session, simulating group meetings, and topics typically explored.
Resources F.O.A.M. provides include: Financial literacy, counseling, educational advancement, and Fatherhood classes. The organization also hosts community special events including their Cooking with Dad Class, BBQ Cookoff, and Fatherhood event.
